Complimentary Workshop

You and a guest are invited to join us for a special presentation at Worcester State University in Worcester, MA. Register below!

There are a number of "retirement optimized" income strategies that all pre-retirees should understand and deploy in retirement. The strategies in the "distribution" phase of life are completely different than in the "accumulation" phase of life. In this complimentary 2-hour workshop, we'll reveal these strategies, how they apply to your individual situation and you'll learn about the following. Don't miss it!

  • Retirement Income Sources: we’ll review various income sources you can access during retirement and provide tips on beefing those up as you're nearing retirement.
  • The Accumulation Phase vs. the Distribution Phase: why it’s necessary to change your mind-set and your strategy in the “distribution” or retirement phase of life.
  • The Retirement Ready Portfolio & Generating Guaranteed Income: understand the importance of making adjustments to your portfolio, reducing volatility and how to generate guaranteed income streams.
  • Retirement Distribution Planning: how to position your savings with asset location to potentially minimize taxes and maximize cash flow in retirement, and how to efficiently harvest your income sources.
  • Maximizing Social Security: how to determine the right Social Security timing strategy so you don’t leave any money on the table. We’ll also discuss how to reduce Social Security taxation.
  • Protecting Your Income from Risks: understand the main risks (volatility, longevity and inflation) to your retirement income and how to minimize them to the greatest extent possible.
  • Minimizing the Impact of Taxes on Your Income: there’s a myriad of little known strategies to help you give as little of your hard earned income to Uncle Sam as possible.
  • Using Your Home Equity in Retirement: we’ll discuss the misunderstood “swiss army knife” of retirement planning…your primary residence.
  • And much more!

FEATURED PRESENTER

Brian Saranovitz, Co-Founder and President

As a baby boomer himself, Brian Saranovitz is a co-founder and president of Your Retirement Advisor and a retirement instructor for Your Retirement Solved. A former professional football player (most notably for the New England Patriots) and graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Brian has been a financial advisor for over 30 years. He gained most of his experience working in his former practice, Saranovitz Capital Management, founded by his father Norman in 1970. As a jock turned geek, Brian is obsessed with retirement research and finding the best strategies for his students and clients. Brian has witnessed firsthand clients struggling to understand the myriad of issues they face while preparing for retirement. At the same time, he’s witnessed a void in quality, research-backed retirement education and advice. He loves teaching the finer points of retirement planning and looks forward to meeting you at an upcoming class. Note: Don’t ask Brian about football, the Patriots or Celtics, or you might not hear anything about retirement planning.
